Northstar 538 Explorer Fuel Management: Every Explorer 538 Chartplotter unit has a built-in fuel computer. Just purchase the optional fuel kit to display fuel management data such as fuel flow, fuel remaining, estimated range and fuel economy. A graphical fuel gauge complements this digital information, and each Explorer comes SmartCraft™-ready - a fantastic feature for boats with compatible Mercury, MerCruiser and Mariner engines.
Northstar 538 Explorer: The Northstar Explorer 538 comes standard with a 16MB background map and includes a slot for a C-Map NT MAX™ cartridge.
Multiple screen options are presented in a 3.8-inch, high contrast transflective screen that provides outstanding daylight viewing performance in all conditions. A perfect companion to the Norhtstar Explorer 438 fishfinder.
The Northstar Explorer 538 features the same button configuration as the larger Explorer units, making it one of the easiest products on the market to use.
Note: some NT MAX features, such as perspective view and land elevations are not available on the Norhtstar Explorer 538.
